Cut Flowers

Agri-flower, Agri-lake and Ethio-Dream are the three flower farms under MIDROC Investment Group that produce variety of high quality roses /cut flowers/ using state-of-the-art growing, harvesting, packing and quality assurance practices that meet highest international standards.

Three of our farms, Holeta flower farm, Bahirdar flower farm and Ethio Dream flower farm, are dedicated to the export of quality roses for markets across the world. The topography and optimum climate of the farms provide suitable conditions for production. All three farms constantly strive to cultivate excellent and consistent quality with over 14 varieties of roses using modern growing, harvesting, packing and quality assurance practices to meet the highest standards. The roses have been recognized for their vibrant colors, ideal stem length and head size, as well as for being free from diseases and pests.

The major cut flower products of our group are: Upper Class, Confidential, Maryo, Madam Red, New Flash, Hot Pink, Athena and the like.

 Ethio Agri-CEFT PLC entered the flower producing industry in 2004 by establishing the Agri-Flower farm in Holeta. The farm utilizes 17.3 ha of land which have 13 different varieties of rose flower.

Agri-Lake Flower in Bahirdar


Agri-Lake flower, the second flower farm, was established in 2009 in Bahir Dar. The farm utilizes 15 hectares of land which have 12 different varieties of rose flower.

Ethio Dream Flower

Ethio-Dream Farm in Holeta


Ethio-Dream Flower, the third flower farm, was established in 2002.The property has holdings of 21 hectares of land and is located 35 kms west of Addis Ababa. Ethio-Dream Flower originallydeveloped 8.5 hectares of land. The farm is currently working on a 6 hectare expansion project which is expected to raise its production capacity to 7 million stems per year. The expansion project is being carried out with an investment of more than 30 million Birr. .
