TRANS NATION AIRWAYS PLC. (TNA)

Trans Nation Airways was founded on April 28, 1995 E.C (on May 6, 2003 G.C) under MIDROC Group. In July 1996 E.C, the company officially started its operation by obtaining an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority.

The company’s stakeholders were Mr. Seid Hussien Ali Al Amoudi, Mr. Hasen Hussien Ali Al Amoudi and Mr. Abdullah Hussien Ali Al Aomudi.

The company is pioneer private company in the field of the aviation industry in our country.

Trans Nation Airways has gone through various processes since its establishment in 1995 E.C and is currently in the process of change, since April 2012 E.C; it has been working with MIDROC Investment Group member companies.

TNA currently provides local and international charter service. Air ambulance (Air ambulance) service, is cargo air transport service and other related activities.

The company currently has 3 aircrafts and recently acquired a new King Air aircraft. It has a current fleet of three aircraft; Two Dash-8-200 aircraft with registration ET-ALX & ET-AKZ and one King Air 360 with Registration ET-AYW.

The company’s branch is located at Bole International Airport and its head office is located in Mekenisa.

TNA was established to fulfill the following objectives:

• Providing domestic and international passenger flights and cargo air transport services
• Chartered VIP and Air Ambulance flights are provided to the domestic region and beyond.
• For the economic growth of the country, the main objective is to earn foreign currency from the tourist areas and create job opportunities for the citizens.
• It provides total services for mining activity, soil research and research, as well as wildlife rescue.
• Operates in aircraft rental leasing and purchase as well as joint operation with other actors in the sector.
• It is involved in the export business of domestic products, tourism and leisure as well as commercial flight services.
