Gemadro coffee is among the finest coffees in the world. It is produced in the conserved natural environment to manifest its natural inherent cup quality. This shade grown Arabica is refined and of unique flavor; balancing bitterness with elegant body and fruity nuances that hint at jasmine and citrus, is primed for the gourmet market.
Gemadro coffee plantation is located in the lush highlands of Southwestern Ethiopia, widely accepted as being the source of Coffee Arabica. The rolling hills and valleys are covered with indigenous forests and are over flowing with crystal clear streams, springs and rivers. The plantation covers a total of 2,217 hectares of which 1,215 hectares is under coffee plantation. In an effort to maintain the local ecology and biodiversity the Plantation has left 942 hectares ... under forest while the remaining 60 hectares has been set aside for infrastructure.
