Wanza Furnishings Industry, a part of MIDROC Investment Group, has obtained certificates Following its massive strive meeting international standards and quality controls.
The certificates are ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).
Wanza Furnishings Industry General Manager Representative Shimelis Ayele during the ceremony, stated that Wanza has been serving the community in Ethiopia for over 50 years by engaging in the furniture sector.
He pointed out that the country has contributed to the nation-building process by completing house furnishing works with high quality in various national projects.
Shimelis said; “This success demonstrates our commitment to providing high-quality home and office furniture, protecting the environment, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace, and ensuring continuous improvement of our operating processes.”
Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Organization Director General Engineer Meaza Aberabe, on her part, said; the institution is working to modernize itself so that the products and services offered to the domestic and international markets maintain their quality.
Furthermore, She stressed that any business organization should act responsibly as it represents the name of its products and services.
